The monarchy and the war had just ended, when Mr. Franz Josef Rauch started the adventure of his life: In 1919, he founded a small wage cidery for the local farmers. One could also say start-up. The next three generations lived through turbulent times and had to work flat out. Today the company Rauch is one of the leading fruit juice producers in Europe and is still run as a family business.
